part 4: Music of the spheres

A Dance of Light is a six-part collaborative project by Lisa DeLong, Nicole Pinnell, and James Goldberg. This project, created in a time of darkness, weaves together visual art, music, and poetry in a shared meditation on light. Starting on the 2020 Winter Solstice, we’ll be releasing one part each Monday. Part 4 was posted on January 11th.

Echoes is written for voice, cello and harp. The trio represents the Divine Father, Divine Mother, a single human life, and together they sing of a dance with heavenly light. The intro, outro, and interludes feature a Major 7th.
